Beberapa Temuan Hewan Kurban Dijual Dalam Kondisi Sakit
Wonosobo, jurnaljateng.id, Dinas Pangan, Pertanian Peternakan dan Perikanan (Dispaperkan) Kabupaten Wonosobo melakukan inspeksi ke berbagai tempat pedagang penjualan hewan kurban yang berada di Kota Kabupaten Wonosobo, Rabu (28/7/2020).
Kepala Bidang Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan (PKH), Sidik Driyono di sela pemeriksaan sejumlah hewan yang diperjualbelikan menjelang Iduladha 1441 H menerangkan, pihaknya berupaya lebih intensif dalam inspeksi pada tahun ini. Selain untuk mengetahui kesehatan hewan yang di jual kepada konsumen juga memastikan protokol kesehatan Covid-19.
“Kami juga menekankan agar para penjual menaati protokol kesehatan pencegahan Covid-19, yaitu melengkapi diri dengan masker, menyediakan fasilitas cuci tangan untuk konsumen, serta memastikan hewan yang dijual dalam kondisi sehat, sehingga tidak berpotensi menularkan virus,” terangnya.
Dari hasil inspeksi di Pasar Hewan Wonolelo, serta enam tempat pedagang hewan kurban musiman di seputar Kota Wonosobo, Sidik mengakui masih ada temuan hewan yang dijual dalam kondisi kurang sehat.
“Pada sapi tidak ada temuan penyakit, namun beberapa kambing dan domba, ada yang sedang terkena ping eye atau mata belekan, sehingga kami minta untuk segera diobati,” tuturnya.
Terhadap temuan-temuan tersebut, pihaknya meminta pedagang untuk menahan penjualan agar tidak sampai menimbulkan kerugian terhadap konsumen.
Demikian juga dengan temuan pada hewan kurban yang secara usia belum cukup umur atau dalam istilah jawa poel sampai yang memiliki kecacatan secara fisik.
“Kami mengimbau agar ternak hasil pemotongan pada saat hari kurban benar-benar memenuhi standar aman, sehat, utuh dan halal alias ASUH. Tidak ada indikasi penyakit sirosis hati atau penyakit yang menular ke manusia”, tandasnya.
Sidik juga menyampaikan imbauan kepada konsumen, agar lebih teliti lagi ketika membeli hewan untuk kurban supaya nantinya tidak mengalami kekecewaan maupun kerugian. (DHP/JJID)
