Sepengetahuan cendiawan Muslim ini, Listyo Sigit mempunyai hubungan yang baik dengan semua kalangan tanpa harus membeda-bedakan.
“Sebagai pilihan Presiden kita hormati. Selamat buat Jenderal Listyo Sigit sebagai calon tungggal Kapolri,” kata Buya Maarif dalam keterangannya, Rabu (13/1/2021).
Seperti diketahui, Ketua DPR Puan Maharani resmi menerima Surat Presiden (Surpres) perihal usulan calon Kapolri yang akan dilakukan uji kepatutan dan kelayakan di DPR RI.
“Pada hari ini bahwa Surpres telah kami terima dari bapak Presiden yang mana bapak presiden menyampaikan usulan pejabat Kapolri yang akan datang dengan nama tunggal yaitu Bapak Drs Listyo Sigit Prabowo MSI yang saat ini menjabat Kabareskrim Polri,” kata Puan kepada wartawan di gedung DPR RI, Jakarta, Rabu (13/1/2021).
Komjen Listyo Sigit Prabowo usai diuji kepatutan dan kelayakan oleh Komisi III DPR tahapan selanjutnya adalah pengesahan di paripurna DPR dan dilanjutkan pelantikan di Istana Negara.
