Cegah Claster Baru Di Pasar Batang, TNI-Polri Gencarkan Pembagian Masker
JURNALJATENG.ID, BATANG – Guna cegah penyebaran Covid-19 dan Bertambahnya Claster baru dikota Batang, Kodim 0736/Batang Bersama Polres dan Disperindag kembali membagikan masker ke sejumlah pasar di Kota Batang. Hal itu dikarenakan pasar merupakan pusat kegiatan perekonomian masyarakat, yang rawan terjadi kerumunan dan sering kali tidak memakai masker.
Kapolres Batang AKBP Edwin Louis Sengka mengatakan, “Kami menyemangati kembali warga, bahwa begitu pentingnya protokol kesehatan ini. Memakai masker adalah pencegahan yang paling murah, yaitu cuci tangan, memakai masker, menjaga jarak aman dan menjauhi kerumunan,” ungkap Kapolres saat membagikan masker di Pasar Induk Kabupaten Batang, Selasa(2/2/2021).
Pembagian masker ini, lanjut dia, kita galakkan lagi untuk mencegah penyebaran pandemi Covid-19, terutama dalam masa Penerapan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM).
“Sekarang ini kita membagikan 1.500 masker ke 4 pasar yakni Pasar Induk Kota Batang, Sambong, Sedondong dan Pujasera,” terangnya.
Kapolres mengakui kegiatan ini erat kaitannya dengan PPKM, supaya masyarakat terus teredukasi adanya protokol kesehatan yang dapat meminimalkan penyebaran pandemi.
Sementara Kepala Disperindagkop dan UKM Batang, Subiyanto mengucapkan terima kasih atas kepedulian Kapolres dengan membagikan masker kepada warga dan pedagang di pasar.
“Saat ini konsentrasi kami ke pasar-pasar di Kota Batang dulu. Ke depan saya masih menunggu dari jadwal gugus tugas percepatan penanganan Covid-19, yang mungkin akan kembali membagikan masker ke pasar-pasar lain di Kabupaten Batang,” ujarnya.
Disperindag melalui para Demang Pasar untuk selalu mengedukasi pedagang dan pengunjung menerapkan protokol kesehatan saat melakukan transaksi jual beli.
“Saya sudah perintahkan Pak Demang untuk mengeduksi protokol kesehatan setiap hari kepada warga pasar. Kalau pun ada pedagang yang sakit flu atau batuk dipersilakan tidak berdagang untuk sementara waktu sampai sembuh. Sosialisasi itu merupakan cara preventif untuk menjaga pasar agar tidak ditutup,” tandasnya.
