Wartawan Kendal,Tandai Jalan Berlubang Cegah Laka
JURNALJATENG.ID, KENDAL – Ada yang berbeda yang dilakukan sajumlah wartawan yang tergabung di Forum wartawan Kendal, Dalam peringatan Hari Pers Nasional, mereka melakukan penandaan jalan yang berlubang dengan cat putih, di jalur Pantura, Jalan Soekarno – Hatta Kendal, Sabtu (13/2/2021).
Kegiatan ini dilakukan atas kerja sama dengan Satlantas Polres Kendal dan Kodim Kendal tersebut bertujuan untuk mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan akibat jalan yang berlubang.
Salah seorang wartawan, Cakwer, kegiatan ini sebagai wujud kepedulian wartawan di Kendal, melihat kondisi jalan yang rusak dan berlubang akibat terkena banjir beberapa waktu lalu.
“Ya kegiatan ini kami lakukan spontanitas saja. Untuk ikut membantu mengantisipasi terjadinya kecelakaaan. Karena lubang jalan ini banyak pengendara khususnya roda dua yang terperosok dan berbahaya,” terangnya.
Sementara itu perwakilan dari Kodim Kendal, Sulistyawan mengapresiasi apa yang dilakukan para jurnalis ini.
Menurutnya apa yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini bisa membantu mengantisipasi jatuhnya korban akibat jalan yang berlubang.
“Paska banjir beberapa minggu ini,kondisi jalur pantura Kendal area Kodim pertigaan ini sering rusak dan berlubang. Selain itu ada pula pengendara yang terperosok dan bahkan terjatuh, ungkap Sulis
Terpisah Kasatlantas Polres Kendal, AKP Fista Ananda mengapresiasi dan mendukung apa yang dilakukan wartawan yang peduli akan keselamatan pengendara.
“Pemerintah harus cepat bertindak, walaupun sekarang masa pandemi yang diutamakan, tapi harus diperhatikan juga kondisi yang sekarang dialami sama masyarakat”.
Beberapa waktu lalu memang dari dinas terkait sudah bertindak dengan menutup jalan berlubang di Titik-titik prioritas, tapi hasilnya tidak maksimal.
Masyarakat sudah bisa melihat sendiri hasilnya seperti apa,Ungkapnya
“Pemerintah harus bertindak cepat agar tidak ada korban lebih banyak lagi”.
Kami pihak Satlantas hanya bisa melakukan upaya semampunya, untuk menindaklanjuti laporan dari masyarakat, didukung oleh pemerintah supaya cepat terealisasi.Pungkasnya
