Ugal ugalan, Truk Tabrak Mobil Boks Logistik Medis
JURNALJATENG.ID, MADIUN – Pengemudi truk diduga mengendali dengan ugal ugalan, menabrak mobil boks bermuatan logistik peralatan medis di Jalan Hayam Wuruk, Desa Sambirejo, Kecamatan Jiwan, Madiun, Jawa Timur, Rabu (28/7). Sebelum akhirnya terguling, truk bermuatan kaca itu sempat miring ke kiri hingga terbanting menghantam mobil boks.
Kedua pengemudi kendaraan yang terlibat kecelakaan selamat. Namun puluhan lembar kaca yang dimuat truk hancur berantakan, bahkan serpihannya sempat mengotori jalanan.
Sebelum aparat kepolisian lalu lintas setempat yang menangani insiden tersebut mengevakuasi kedua bangkai kendaraan, kedua kendaraan yang teronggok sempat menjadi tontonan warga dan pengguna jalan. Tidak sedikit diantara mereka yang mengabadikannya menggunakan ponsel.
Sumber di lokasi kejadian kepada jurnalis menyebutkan, Truk bernomor polisi AE 8017 ED yang dikemudikan Priyo, warga Madiun, tersebut meluncur kencang. Dikatakannya, sebelumnya truk dari Timur melintas jembatan lalu belok kanan arah Utara.
Di saat yang hampir bersamaan, meluncur mobil boks B 9916 CCD dari arah Selatan yang dikemudikan Hartanto, warga Solo, Jawa Tengah. Lantaran jarak dua kendaraan sudah sangat dekat, terlebih truk dalam kondisi miring, insiden tersebut sulit terhindarkan.
“Saat melintasi jembatan dan belok ke kanan, truk itu berjalan kencang, Mas. Terus miring hingga akhirnya ambruk terguling menghantam mobil boks,” tutur saksi.
Sementara pengemudi mobil boks, Hartanto, mengaku mengendalikan mobilnya dalam keadaan terukur. Mengingat, lokasi pembongkaran logistik medis yang diambil dari Solo itu sudah dekat dan tidak jauh dari lokasi kecelakaan.
“Saya sekeluarga ngemudi pelan karena lokasi pembongkaran barang sudah dekat. Hanya beberapa meter dari lokasi kecelakaan,” jelas Hartanto, pengemudi mobil boks.
Sementara Priyo, pengemudi truk, mengaku sudah mengendalikan kendaraannya dengan benar. Dia mengaku tidak mengira jika truk yang dikemudikannya tersebut miring hingga akhirnya terguling.
Untuk mengetahui penyebab pasti terjadinya kecelakaan itu, petugas polisi lalu lintas setempat tengah melakukan olah tempat kejadian. Kedua pengemudi kendaraan yang terlibat kecelakaan juga dimintai keterangannya.
Kecelakaan yang terjadi di pertigaan jembatan itu tidak menimbulkan kemacetan arus lalu lintas. Selain dia jalan yang cukup luas, lokasi kecelakaan berada di pinggir jalan.
Beberapa saat kemudian polisi mengevakuasi kedua bangkai kendaraan tersebut, sebagai barang bukti dan diperiksa lebih lanjut.
