JURNALJATENG.ID, PAPUA – Di tengah maraknya pandemi Covid-19 yang saat ini melanda dunia, Satgas Pamtas Yonif Mekanis 516/CY Pos Kalimandom membagikan masker kepada para pekerja perkebunan dan warga sekitar.
Demikian disampaikan oleh Dansatgas Pamtas RI-PNG Yonif Mekanis 516/CY, Letkol Inf Muhammad Radhi Rusin, S.I.P., dalam keterangan tertulisnya di Asiki, Distrik Jair, Boven Digoel, Papua Senin (26/10/2020).
Dansatgas mengatakan, masih banyaknya warga yang beraktivitas dengan tidak mengunakan masker, maka untuk menjalankan kebijakan dan aturan yang telah dibuat oleh pemerintah, oleh karena itu Satgas Pamtas Yonif 516/CY khususnya personel Pos Kalimandom melakukan kegiatan Patroli peduli Covid-19 yang dilakukan di depan pos dengan sasaran warga yang melintas di depan pos dan pekerja di perkebunan.
“Tidak semua jenis pekerjaan yang dapat dikerjakan dari rumah. Namun aturan kebijakan pemerintah untuk mencegah penyebaran Virus Corona harus diikuti semua kalangan, tetapi ada saja sebagian dari warga dan pekerja perkebunan yang tidak mematuhi atau menghiraukan aturan protokol kesehatan tersebut, “ ujarnya.
“Kewajiban kita bersama untuk saling mengingatkan dan memberikan pemahaman dan kesadaran bagi warga yang belum mematuhi protokol kesehatan, “ imbuhnya.
Lebih lanjut dikatakan, pihaknya membagikan masker kepada setiap warga dan pekerja perkebunan yang melintas, supaya masyarakat menggunakan masker selama beraktivitas.
