Hormati Adat, Yonarmed 3/105 Tarik Ikuti Adat Upeti
JURNALJATENG.ID, NUSATENGGARA TIMUR – Dalam Menghargai budaya dan adat istiadat setempat merupakan salah satu upaya mendekatkan diri dengan masyarakat di tempat penugasan. Seperti yang dilakukan anggota Pos Nilulat yang turut hadir pada pelaksanaan acara Adat Upeti untuk Rumah Adat dengan makna memberi makan Raja Lake Nilulat.
Hal tersebut disampaikan Dansatgas Yonarmed 3/105 Tarik, Letkol Arm Laode Irwan Halim, S.I.P., M.Tr.(Han)., dalam rilisnya di Kecamatan Bikomi Nilulat, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Senin (2/11/2020).
Diterangkan Dansatgas, adat istiadat di setiap daerah memiliki keunikannya masing-masing. Sehingga keberadaan Satgas di daerah penugasan harus mampu menghormati seluruh adat dan budaya tersebut dan sedapat mungkin ikut melestarikannya.
Hal ini diwujudkan oleh personel Pos Nilulat yang turut serta hadir membaur dengan masyarakat Desa Nilulat dalam memeriahkan acara Adat Upeti untuk Rumah Adat Nilulat.
“Anggota Satgas tidak segan-segan membaur bersama masyarakat dengan ikut memikul bahan makanan dan hasil panen pada prosesi seserahan makanan untuk diserahkan kepada bapak raja, mereka juga ikut melakukan tarian adat tradisional,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut dikatakan bahwa kegiatan tersebut dipimpin oleh Danpos Nilulat Sertu Iswandi bersama beberapa anggotanya yang hadir di rumah Bapak Raja Lake.
“Pada acara adat ini kami tidak hanya datang untuk menonton, tapi kami juga harus terlibat langsung karena kami merasa sudah menjadi bagian dari masyarakat Nilulat. Jadi kami mengikuti acara Adat Upeti ini dengan ikut memikul bahan makan dan hasil panen, serta ikut menari saat acara Tarian Gong sebagai tarian adat di sini,” imbuhnya.
Ditambahkan Sertu Iswandi bahwa Bapak Raja Fedrus Lake (73) selaku tertua Raja Lake di Desa Nilulat yang menjadi tuan rumah pada acara Adat Upeti tersebut.
“Menurut kepercayaan masyarakat Desa Nilulat, acara Adat Upeti ini dilakukan sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur serta harapan masyarakat kepada leluhurnya agar panen yang akan datang diberikan hasil yang semakin melimpah,” terangnya.
Sementara itu, mewakili keluarga Raja Lake an. Bapak Benedikut Lake (56) selaku keturunan Raja Lake mengapresiasi turut hadirnya anggota Satgas Yonarmed 3/105 Tarik pada acara adat tersebut.
“Saya senang Bapak Pos mau ikut diacara ini, mereka ramah dan juga mau membaur dengan masyarakat di sini. Semoga kegiatan ini bisa rutin dilaksanakan setiap tahunnya sehingga masyarakat juga semakin akrab dengan bapak-bapak Pos disini,” ujarnya.
