Kabaintelkam, Putra Papua Irjen Paulus Waterpauw Naik Bintang Tiga
JURNALJATENG.ID, JAKARTA – Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo resmi melantik Irjen Paulus Waterpauw sebagai Kepala Badan Intelijen dan Keamanan (Kabaintelkam) Polri. Dengan begitu, putra asal Papua ini resmi menyandang bintang tiga pangkat Komisaris Jenderal alias Komjen.
Saat dilantik, Kapolri pun memimpin untuk mengucapkan janji dan sumpah ke Kabareskrim serta pejabat utama Mabes Polri lainnya dalam Upacara Sertijab ini.
“Bahwa saya, akan setia kepada Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia yang berdasarkan Pancasila dan UUD tahun 1945 serta akan menjalankan segala peraturan perundang-undangan,” kata Kapolri yang diikuti oleh seluruh pejabat utama Mabes Polri, Rabu (24/2/2021).
Upacara Sertijab ini sesuai dengan Surat Telegram Rahasi (STR) bernomor ST/318/III/KEP./2021 yang ditandatangani oleh As SDM Polri Irjen Sutrisno Yudi Hermawan tanggal 18 Februari 2021 atas nama Kapolri.
Selain Kabaintelkam, Kapolri juga melantik Kabaharkam dan Kalemdiklat. Sementara jabatan Kapolda dan Wakapolda nantinya dilaksanakan pada pekan depan.
