JURNALJATENG.ID, JAKARTA – Menteri Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional menghadiri Rapat Pansus RUU Perubahan Kedua atas Undang-Undang Nomor 21 Tahun 2001 tentang Otonomi Khusus Provinsi Papua, di Gedung DPR RI, Kamis (27/05/2021).
Pembahasan dalam pertemuan tersebut antara lain arah kebijakan Dana Otsus, skema baru pengelolaan Otsus Papua, dan peran Bappenas dalam pengelolaan Otsus ke depan. Arah kebijakan dana otonomi khusus untuk Papua dan Papua Barat tahun 2022 terdiri dari 4 tujuan.
Pertama, meningkatkan penggunaan Dana Otonomi Khusus Papua untuk meningkatkan IPM, meningkatkan kompetensi masyarakat adat Papua di segala bidang pembangunan, mengentaskan kemiskinan, meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi, menumbuhkan pusat-pusat ekonomi baru di 7 wilayah adat, menekan biaya mahal, menjaga keberlanjutan. lingkungan hidup, membangun kehidupan. inklusi sosial, keamanan dan perdamaian serta peningkatan konektivitas antar daerah melalui Dana Tambahan Infrastruktur yang besarnya disepakati antara DPR-RI atas rekomendasi Pemerintah.
Kedua, memperkuat koordinasi, kerjasama dan kemitraan antara Pemerintah Provinsi dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten dan Kota, Kementerian atau Lembaga, serta masyarakat dalam penyaluran, pelaporan, pemantauan, pengendalian, dan evaluasi penggunaan dana dan pencapaian kinerja Otonomi Khusus. Dana.
Ketiga, memperhatikan kebutuhan dan prioritas pembangunan masing-masing kabupaten / kota di Papua secara bertahap hingga tercapai Transformasi Papua yang berkelanjutan pada tahun 2030.
