Ormas Bakti Nuswantara Soroti Penjemputan Paksa Haris Azhar dan Fatia
JURNALJATENG.ID, SEMARANG – Empat orang polisi mendatangi kediaman Haris Azhar (Direktur Lokataru) dan lima orang polisi lainya mendatangi rumah Fatia Maulidiyanti (Koordinator Kontras), selasa pagi (18/1/2022)
Kedatangan polisi bertujuan meminta keterangan atas laporan pencemaran nama baik yang dibuat oleh Menko Maritim dan Investasi, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan. Hal ini dilakukan setelah dua kali pemanggilan polisi tidak dihadiri sejak Desember 2021 karena mereka mengajukan penundaan pemeriksaan yang menurutnya tidak direspon pihak kepolisian.
Ketua Umum Ormas Bakti Nuswantara, Kharles Simanjuntak, Selasa (25/01) mengapresiasi tindakan yang dilakukan oleh POLRI sebagai aparat negara penegak hukum.
Meski demikian Kharles menyayangkan tindakan tersebut, sebaiknya tindakan kepolisian tersebut dilakukan secara proporsional dengan mempertimbangkan alasan penundaan pemeriksaan yang diajukan oleh pihak Haris Azhar dan Fatia, karena fungsi dan peran POLRI bukan hanya penegak hukum saja tetapi juga sebagai pelindung, pengayom dan pelayan masyarakat.
“Ini adalah fungsi yang sangat mulia di mana rakyat meminta perlindungan dari ketidak adilan dll adalah di institusi POLRI. Oleh karenanya kami percaya bahwa POLRI akan melakukan proses hukum/ penyidikan dengan profesional, objektif dan mandiri bebas dari intervensi untuk mewujudkan hukum yg berkebenaran dan berkeadilan di negeri tercinta ini,” ungkap Kharles.
Sebagaimana diketahui, perkara ini berawal dari percakapan antara Haris dan Fatia dalam video yang diunggah di kanal YouTube Haris Azhar. Video itu berjudul “Ada Lord Luhut di Balik Relasi Ekonomi-OPS Militer Intan Jaya!! Jenderal BIN Juga Ada!! NgeHAMtam”. Dalam video tersebut keduanya menyebut Luhut “bermain” dalam bisnis tambang di Intan Jaya Papua.
Senada dengan yang disampaikan Ketua Umum Bakti Nuswantara, Mince Phieters yang juga sebagai aktivis Bakti Nuswantara, mendukung secara moril Haris Azhar atas kasus yang sedang dijalaninya. Dia mendukung segala pembuktian atas fakta-fakta yang diungkapkan dalam video. “Haris Azhar dan Fatia perlu diberikan ruang dan waktu untuk membuktikan perkataannya dalam video tersebut, sesuai dengan surat yang dilayangkan untuk meminta penundaan pemeriksaan sampai bulan Februari 2022”, sambung Mince.
Menurutnya kasus ini harus diproses seadil-adilnya untuk menjaga nama baik institusi POLRI juga mengungkap kebenaran di balik pernyataan-pernyataan Haris dan Fatia. Selain itu dia juga menyampaikan bahwa jika ini adalah kritik, pemerintah seharusnya tidak terlalu responsif sampai harus lapor polisi dengan ancaman pidana.
“Cukup dibuktikan saja, jangan jadi anti-kritik. Sikap arogansi dan anti-kritik tersebut justru memperlihatkan penyempitan dan pengkerdilan ruang publik (decreasing and shrinking civic space) yang sedang menggerogoti ruang demokrasi kita,” lanjutnya.
Walaupun kasus ini sudah naik ke penyidikan, ormas Bakti Nuswantara menyerukan kepada masyarkat agar memonitor dan mengawal kasus ini agar terang benderang.
“Hukum tetap ditegakkan meskipun langit runtuh,” pungkasnya.
