Donor Plasma Wujud Aksi Kemanusiaan Untuk Sesama
JURNALJATENG.ID, SURAKARTA – Rumah Sakit Tk. III Bhakti Wira Tamtama Semarang bekerja sama dengan Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Surakarta menggelar program donor Plasma Konvalesen di RSUD Dr. Moewardi, Jl. Kolonel Sutarto No.132, Kota Surakarta, Senin (8/2/2021).
Kegiatan Donor plasma ini diikuti para Prajurit Kodam IV/Diponegoro penyintas Covid-19 yang telah memenuhi kriteria pada pre-skrining yang sudah dilakukan sebelumnya. Pemeriksaan tersebut untuk memastikan para pendonor memiliki antibodi dan hasil negatif terhadap beberapa pemeriksaan keamanan darah, serta memenuhi standar pemeriksaan laboratorium sesuai dengan persyaratan.
Terapi plasma Konvalesen dapat memperbaiki sistem kekebalan tubuh pasien sebab plasma atau bagian darah tersebut mengandung antibodi dari orang yang telah sembuh dari Covid-19. Melalui metode pengobatan ini telah didapatkan hasil yang baik serta kesehatan pasien menunjukkan perkembangan yang cukup signifikan.
Ditargetkan kedepan para Prajurit dan PNS Kodam IV/Diponegoro penyintas Covid-19 bisa mengikuti aksi sosial tersebut mengingat ketersediaan plasma konvalesen di hampir semua rumah sakit wilayah Jateng dan DIY masih sangat minim.
Kapendam IV/Diponegoro Kolonel Kav Susanto, S.I.P., M.A.P. mengungkapkan bahwa program kemanusiaan yang dikemas dengan tema Pahlawan Covid ini diharapkan mampu mengurangi peningkatan pasien Covid-19 serta memutus mata rantai penyebaran virus corona dengan lebih efisien.
“Memang tidak seluruhnya para penyintas Covid-19 ini dapat mendonorkan plasma darahnya, karena tidak semua bisa dinyatakan lulus uji klinis, namun demikian tidak ada salahnya untuk mencoba” ungkapnya.
Perlu adanya dukungan semua pihak untuk melakukan sosialisasi tentang donor plasma ini kepada orang-orang yang terinfeksi Covid-19. Sehingga diharapkan masyarakat penyintas Covid-19 memiliki kesadaran bersama dan bersedia melakukan donor plasma untuk membantu kesembuhan sesama.
“Dengan saling memberi, saling bantu, tanpa pamrih maka Bangsa ini akan menjadi bangsa yang besar, kita samua bersaudara” pungkas Kapendam.
