Dampak Belajar Daring Telan Korban, Orang Tua Bunuh Anak Kandungnya
JAKARTA, jurnaljateng.id, Komisioner Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) Bidang Pendidikan, Retno Listyarti menyampaikan keprihatinannya atas kasus pembunuhan yang dilakukan orang tua terhadap anaknya karena kesulitan saat melakukan belajar jarak jauh secara daring di masa pandemi covid-19 ini.
Hal tersebut menanggapi tentang Geger Warga Desa Cipalabuh, Kecamatan Cijaku, Kabupaten Lebak, Banten, perihal penemuan jenazah anak kecil berinisial KS (8), yang terkubur di Tempat Pemakaman Umum Gunung Keneng dengan pakaian lengkap.
Polisi pun langsung menangkap dua orang pelaku yakni IS (27) dan LH (26), yang merupakan pasangan suami istri sekaligus orang tua kandung anak kecil tersebut.
Belakangan diketahui, motif kedua orang tua membunuh anaknya, karena sang anak susah diajari untuk belajar secara online (Daring).
Retno menegaskan, dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh tidak mensyaratkan ketuntasan pembelajaran, sehingga anak tidak perlu memahami secara mendalam.
“Yang utama adalah keteraturan belajar, tidak harus dituntut bisa semua mata pelajaran dan tugas untuk diselesaikan dengan benar atau sempurna,” kata Retno ketika dihubungi rri.co.id, Rabu (16/09/2020)
Menurut Retno, kesabaran orangtua membimbing anak-anaknya belajar di rumah selama pandemi Covid-19, menjadi modal utama agar anak tetap semangat belajar dan senang belajar.
“Kalau tidak bisa mengerjakan selalu dibentak apalagi dipukul, maka sang anak malah akan mengalami kesulitan memahami pelajaran,” ujar Retno.
Ia juga mengingatkan, terdapat ancaman hukuman yang berat bagi pelaku pembunuhan anak. Apalagi jika yang melakukan orang terdekat korban.
Ancaman hukuman tersebut diatur dalam Undang-undang nomor 35 tahun 2014 tentang perlindungan Anak.
“Jika pelaku kekerasan adalah orang terdekat korban, maka pelaku bisa mendapat pemberatan hukuman sebanyak 1/3, dalam kasus ini tuntutan hukuman maksimal 15 tahun dan jika diperberat 1/3 menjadi 20 tahun,” ungkap Retno.
