JURNALJATENG.ID, KAMPAR – Dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan prajurit dalam bertempur, Yonif 132/BS menggelar kegiatan Uji Siap Tempur (UST) yang dilaksanakan selama 4 hari didaerah latihan XIII Koto Kampar Kompleks, Riau, Selasa (01/12/2020).
Selaku Komandan Latihan (Danlat) Danyonif 132/BS Mayor Inf M. Syafii Nasution menyampaikan, kegiatan latihan tempur ini sering kita sebut latihan Uji Siap Tempur (UST), guna menguji kesiapan tempur prajurit dalam hubungan setingkat Peleton.
Latihan ini juga untuk menguji kesiapan satuan sehingga bilamana satuan mendapatkan perintah dari Komando Atas untuk berangkat melaksanakan Operasi satuan siap dan tidak ragu menghadapi tugas tersebut, karena di Medan Operasi tidak ada lagi skenario latihan dan bulsi, melainkan medan dan musuh yang sebenarnya sehingga apabila kita tidak berlatih dengan sungguh-sungguh, maka bisa merugikan diri kita sendiri dan teman lainya di Medan Operasi.” ucap Danyonif 132/BS.
Maka dari itu, Uji Siap Tempur harus benar-benar kita laksanakan dengan sungguh-sungguh, karena latihan ini suatu dasar tempur prajurit yang harus diperdalam atau dikembangkan agar prajurit tidak melupakan taktik-taktik tempur dasar, karena kita sebagai satuan tempur Yonif 132/BS harus senantiasa siap sedia untuk mengemban tugas guna menanggulangi dan mengatasi berbagai bentuk ancaman terhadap kedaulatan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia.” tutur Danyonif 132/BS Mayor Inf M.
