Laporan Pentagon: China Melirik Fasilitas Militer Di Indonesia, Ini Respon Menteri Luar Negeri
JAKARTA, jurnaljateng.id, Respon Menteri luar negeri Retno Marsudi atas laporan Pentagon “Military and Security Development Involving the People’s Republic of China 2020” (Pengembangan Militer dan Keamanan China 2020). Memastikan, Indonesia tidak akan menjadi Basis Pangkalan Militer Manapun
Sesuai laporan Kementerian Pertahanan Amerika Serikat (AS) yang diserahkan ke Kongres AS tersebut, China melirik fasilitas militer Indonesia dan juga negara lainnya untuk dijadikan pangkalan militernya.
Selain Indonesia, Beijing, Myanmar,Thailand, Singapura, Uni Emirat Arab, Kenya, Seychelles, Tanzania, Angola, dan Tajikistan juga melirik fasilitas militer Pakistan. Tujuan China adalah untuk membangun jaringan logistik militer Tentara Pembebasan Rakyat (PLA) global agar dapat mengganggu operasi militer AS.
Retno mengungkapkan, ia telah membaca laporan Pentagon, dimana dalam laopranya menyebut Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara yang dianggap China sebagai lokasi bagi fasilitasi logistik militernya.
Retno menegaskan, bahwa seluruh wilayah teritorial Indonesia tidak dapat, dan tidak akan menjadi basis militer asing.
“Secara tegas saya ingin menekankan bahwa sesuai dengan garis dan prinsip politik luar negeri Indonesia, maka wilayah Indonesia tidak dapat dan tidak akan dijadikan basis atau pangkalan maupun fasilitas militer bagi negara manapun,” kata Retno melalui keterangan tertulisnya, Jumat (4/9/2020).
Saya ulangi bahwa wilayah Indonesia tidak dapat dan tidak akan dijadikan basis atau pangkalan maupun fasilitas militer bagi negara manapun,” tambahnya.
Sebelumnya, anggota Komisi I DPR Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi juga mengatakan, Indonesia tidak akan mungkin dan tidak akan menjadi salah satu pangkalan militer China.
Dengan pernyataanya, Bobby menepis isu yang menyebutkan China ingin membangun pangkalan militer di Indonesia. (PBIB/JJID)
