Presiden Jokowi Instruksikan Persiapan Detail Vaksin Covid-19
Selain persiapan matang yang dibutuhkan terkait pengadaan dan distribusi vaksin, edukasi mengenai rencana tersebut juga harus dilakukan dengan baik.
JURNALJATENG.ID, JAKARTA – Presiden Joko Widodo menginstruksikan jajarannya untuk mempersiapkan dengan detail dan hati-hati rencana pemberian vaksin Covid-19.
“Vaksin ini saya minta jangan tergesa-gesa karena sangat kompleks. Jadi saya harapkan betul-betul disiapkan mengenai vaksin, komunikasi publiknya terutama, yang berkaitan dengan halal dan haram, harga, kualitas, dan distribusinya seperti apa,” ujarnya saat memimpin rapat terbatas mengenai antisipasi penyebaran Covid-19 saat libur panjang akhir Oktober tahun 2020 di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, pada Senin, 19 Oktober 2020.
Menurut Presiden, hal mendasar yang harus dijadikan perhatian ialah pada saat tahap implementasi. Hal tersebut bukanlah hal yang mudah untuk dilakukan sehingga perlu kehati-hatian demi keselamatan dan kesehatan masyarakat.
“Titik kritis dari vaksinasi nanti adalah di implementasi. Jangan menganggap mudah implementasi. Tidak mudah. Prosesnya seperti apa, siapa yang pertama disuntik terlebih dahulu, kenapa dia, harus dijelaskan betul kepada publik. Proses-proses komunikasi publik ini yang harus disiapkan,” tuturnya.
Pelatihan-pelatihan bagi tenaga medis dan pihak-pihak yang bersentuhan langsung dengan rencana vaksinasi tersebut juga dipandang perlu untuk memperoleh pelatihan yang memadai.
“Karena vaksin pun ini harus mendapatkan treatment dan perlakuan yang spesifik. Tiap vaksin beda-beda. Saya minta ini dilibatkan WHO Indonesia agar mereka bisa memberikan training-training sehingga standarnya menjadi jelas,” ucap Presiden.
