Pemkot Semarang Buka Pelaku Usaha Kreatif Tempati Pasar Bulu
JURNALJATENG.ID, SEMARANG – Pasar Bulu merupakan salah pasar rakyat tradisional di Kota Semarang. Tahun 2014 pasar tersebut rampung di revitalisasi menjadi lebih modern.
Meskipun bangunan fisiknya terlihat lebih modern dan representatif seperti pasar swalayan yang dilengkapi eskalator tetapi masih belum mampu menarik pengunjung.
Selain itu, masih banyak kios yang kosong. Hal tersebut sebagai faktor tidak menariknya Pasar Bulu untuk dikunjungi.
Pemerintah Kota Semarang melalui Dinas Perdagangan sendiri sebenarnya telah berupaya melakukan langkah persuasif, agar pedagang tradisional bisa aktif berkegiatan pada ruang usaha di Pasar Bulu.
Namun upaya tersebut belum menemui hasil positif, karena banyak pedagang lebih memilih berjualan di pinggir jalan.
Tak ingin kondisi pasar yang berhadapan dengan Lawang Sewu terus terkesan mangkrak, Wali Kota Semarang Hendrar Prihadi pun putar haluan dengan fokus mendedikasikan Pasar Bulu untuk pelaku usaha industri kreatif.
Hendi, sapaan akrab Wali Kota Semarang itu, optimis Pasar Bulu dapat lebih bermanfaat sebagai pusat perbelanjaan ekonomi kreatif.
“Kami melihat Pasar Bulu ini lokasinya sangat strategis, gedungnya juga representatif, sehingga pada saat aktifitas pedagang tradisional tidak bisa maksimal di situ, ya kami memilih putar arah supaya jangan sampai terkesan mangkrak,” terang Hendi dikutib jurnaljateng.id dari KBRN.
Pihaknya sudah menginstruksikan kepada Kepala Dinas Perdagangan dan Kepala Dinas Pariwisata guna mempersiapkan pusat ekonomi kreatif di bulan Juni.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Perdagangan Kota Semarang Fravarta Sadman menuturkan, saat ini telah menginventaris ruang usaha yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pelaku usaha ekonomi kreatif.
Dirinya pun mempersilahkan bagi pelaku usaha yang berminat untuk mengajukan surat permohonan pemanfaatan ruang di Pasar Bulu melalui Dinas Perdagangan Kota Semarang.
“Sesuai yang diinstruksikan bapak Wali Kota, saat ini kami telah melakukan inventaris kios – kios yang sudah tidak dimanfaatkan untuk disegel. Dengan begitu makan ruang – ruang usaha tersebut bisa digunakan lainnya untuk beraktifitas jual beli,” tutur Fravarta.
Di sisi lain, bagi yang ingin berjualan di Pasar Bulu, cukup mengajukan surat permohonan ke Dinas Perdagangan Kota Semarang, serta menandatangani kesanggupan untuk bisa terus membuka usaha.
