Nota Kesepahaman Kerjasama di Bidang Hukum Ditanda Tangani Indonesia Dan Rusia.
JURNALJATENG.ID, JAKARTA – Menteri Hukum dan HAM, Yasonna H. Laoly menandatangani Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) bersama Menteri Kehakiman Rusia, Konstantin Anatolievich Chuychenko untuk meningkatkan kerja sama Indonesia dan Rusia di bidang hukum.
Penandatanganan MoU dilakukan pada Kamis (11/05/2023) dalam rangkaian acara 11st. Saint. Petersbug International Legal Forum 2023.
Yasonna menjelaskan MoU Indonesia dan Rusia akan meningkatkan kerja sama yang telah terjalin antara kedua negara, dalam isu-isu yang mewakili kepentingan bersama berdasarkan prinsip dan kaidah hukum internasional.
Lingkup kerja sama mencakup banyak hal, di antaranya peraturan Perundang-undangan, Administrasi Hukum Umum, Pemasyarakatan, Imigrasi, Kekayaan Intelektual, Hak Asasi Manusia dan Strategi Kebijakan.
Selain itu kerja sama juga dapat dilakukan dengan kantor wilayah di setiap provinsi yang menyediakan layanan publik dan hukum.
Kegiatan kerja sama dapat berupa pertukaran pengalaman dan kunjungan antara para ahli dan pejabat, seminar gabungan, peningkatan kapasitas sumberdaya manusia seperti pendidikan dan pelatihan, kuliah, studi kasus, dan pemberian bantuan hukum guna menjamin akses keadilan bagi semua.
Yasonna selanjutnya menegaskan bahwa implementasi dari MoU ini akan membantu tugas kita masing-masing dalam menjawab tantangan global dan meningkatkan kapasitas dalam memberikan pelayanan publik yang terbaik berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip negara hukum.
Kerja sama bidang hukum antara Indonesia dan Rusia telah dimulai sejak lima tahun terakhir. Kerja sama ini diawali dengan penandatanganan Bantuan Hukum Timbal Balik di Moskow pada tahun 2019.
Selanjutnya, di bulan Maret tahun 2023 lalu kedua negara melakukan perjanjian Ekstradisi di Bali.
Partisipasi delegasi Kementerian Hukum dan HAM dalam 11st Saint Petersbug International Legal Forum 2023 dipimpin oleh Menteri Yasonna H. Laoly, didampingi Sekretaris Jenderal Kemenkumham, Komjen Pol. Andap Budhi Revianto, Direktur Jenderal Administrasi Hukum Umum Cahyo Rahardian Muzhar serta Staf khusus Menteri Bidang Hubungan Luar Negeri Linggawati Hakim serta delegasi lainnya.
