Hujan Angin Aduk aduk Kota Madiun, SMPN 7 Hancur Tertimpa Beringin Raksasa
JURNALJATENG.ID, MADIUN – Hujan deras disertai angin kencang, Minggu sore (22/ 11), mengamuk dan mengaduk aduk sebagian wilayah Kota Madiun, Jawa Timur. Tak sedikit pohon peneduh di beberapa jalan protokol bertumbangan. Bahkan gedung SMPN 7 hancur tertimpa beringin ukuran raksasa.
Bagian atap gedung SMPN 7 yang berada di jalan Merak itu hancur cukup berat, akibat timpaan pohon beringin besar yang tumbuh di halaman depan dan sisi gedung. Beruntung tidak menelan korban jiwa atau luka, lantaran saat kejadian tidak berlangsung proses belajar mengajar.
Sedangkan pohon peneduh yang bertumbangan hingga merusak jaringan kabel telepon, terjadi di beberapa jalan protokol. Diantaranya Jalan Cokroaminoto, Mayjend. Sungkono, dr. Sutomo, Asahan, seputaran Stadion Wilis, seputaran Alun alun dan daerah Rejomulyo.
Air bah akibat hujan intensitas tinggi selama sekitar tiga jam itu, juga sempat menggenangi beberapa perumahan warga. Seperti yang terjadi di Jalan Asahan. Meski genangan air tidak signifikan namun membuat pemilik rumah merasa mawas, takut jika air terus meninggi.
“Tadi memang terjadi hujan deras cukup lama dan disertai angin kencang. Semua yang ada disini ketakutan, karena anginnya memang kencang sekali. Saat itulah tiba tiba pohon besar itu tumbang menimpa sekolahan,” tutur abang becak di sekitar gedung SMPN 7.
Pihak terkait penanganan bencana alam, utamanya BPBD, tim Sar dan PMI langsung turun ke berbagai titik guna menanggulangi bencana. Petugas PMI langsung menyedot air yang menggenangi rumah warga di Jalan Asahan, menggunakan penyedot air.
“Insyaallah tertanggulangi, Mas. Kawan kawan dari PMI sudah turun tangan menyedot air yang masuk ke perumahan warga,” teriak petugas Sar BPBD setempat.
Sementara petugas BPBD dan tim Sar, segera memotong dan membersihkan pepohonan tumbang melintang jalan. Mereka bekerja membersihkan puing menggunakan gergaji mesin, serta peralatan lainnya. Turut serta petugas PT. Telkom dan PLN berada di titik lokasi, melakukan pemeriksaan dan upaya perbaikan.
Bencana alam itu sendiri berawal saat terjadi hujan lebat durasi cukup panjang. Hujan deras itu tiba tiba terkombinasikan dengan munculnya angin kencang. Hingga dalam sekejap beberapa wilayah di Kota Madiun porak poranda.
Hingga saat ini tidak ada laporan terjadinya baik korban jiwa maupun terluka. Namun kerugian materiil ditaksir ratusan juta rupiah.
Petugas BPBD setempat meminta warga Kota Madiun agar jangan lengah dari situasi bencana. Mengingat, saat ini prakiraan hujan masih tinggi. Dan menutup kemungkinan, setiap turun hujan akan disertai dengan angin kencang.
