Hindari Sepeda Motor, Truk Banting Kemudi Masuk Sungai
JURNALJATENG.ID, PONOROGO – Bermaksud menghindari pengendara sepeda motor yang meluncur searah di depannya, sebuah truk banting setir langsung terjerumus ke sungai di tepi jalan tembus Ponorogo – Wonogiri, Senin (7/ 12). Ratusan karung pupuk muatannya ambyar, sedangkan pengemudi truk pingsan.
Pengemudi truk bernopol S 8930 H, Eko Afrianto, warga Desa Kepuhagung, Kecamatan Plumpung, Tuban, yang pingsan dievakuasi masyarakat dan dilarikan de RSUD dr. Harjono setempat guna pengobatan.
Sementara pengendara sepeda motor bernopol AE 5154 WA yang dihindari truk, Alberstro, warga Desa Gelangkulon, Kecamatan Sampung, Ponorogo, masih diselidiki aparat kepolisian setempat lantaran belum diketahui jejaknya.
Wahyu, saksi mata warga Madiun yang sedang melintas, kepada jurnalis menuturkan, kedua kendaraan, truk dan sepeda motor, melintas searah dari Timur ke Barat dalam posisi sepeda motor di depan truk.
Sejurus saat berada di tempat kejadian, Desa Sumoroto, Kecamatan Kauman, Ponorogo, Jawa Timur, agaknya pengemudi truk kaget melihat sepeda motor di depannya. “Pengemudi truk langsung banting setir ke kiri. Nabrak pohon trembesi, lalu masuk sungai,” tutur Wahyu.
Masyarakat sekitar lokasi kejadian dan para pengguna jalan yang mengetahuinya, langsung berupaya mengevakuasi supir truk. Supir truk yang terjepit di kabin, dalam kondisi pingsan diduga sempat menelan air sungai.
Sedangkan muatannya berupa puluhan ton pupuk organik, yang sedianya akan dikirim ke wilayah Wonogiri, Jawa Tengah, itu berhamburan memenuhi perairan sungai.
Dengan mobil penderek, aparat kepolisian setempat mengevakuasi bangkai truk. Kemudian diamankan di pos polisi terdekat.
Penyebab pasti terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas ini masih dalam penyelidikan petugas kepolisian setempat. Beberapa barang bukti diamankan, dan saksi mata dimintai keterangan polisi.
