Ariyati Pensiunan Guru Yang Tekuni Budidaya Jamur
TEMANGGUNG, jurnaljateng.id, Mengisi masa pensiunan Ariyati (58), warga Desa Mondoretno, Kecamatan Bulu, Temanggung mengisinya dengan mengembangkan budidaya jamur.
Sebelumnya ia mengajar di salah satu Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Temanggung dan telah memasuki masa pensiun sejak 1 September lalu. Dengan wirausahanya yang dirintis ia memdapat tambahan penghasilan dari usaha barunya.
“Saya juga akan memiliki lebih banyak waktu luang, karena tidak lagi mengajar setelah pensiun,” tutur Ariyati, Senin (5/10/2020).
Sejauh ini jamur terus diminati untuk dijadikan olahan menjadi makanan ringan yang dimanati banyak orang, misalnya keripik atau jamur crispy. Selain itu hasil budidaya juga bisa digunakan sebagai sayur makanan atau tambahan sayur konsumsi.
Pemikiran untuk melakukan budidaya jamur yang didapat Ariyati setelah mengamati usaha budidaya jamur milik tetangganya yang tetap bertahan dimasa pandemi Korona.
“Saya mulai budidaya jamur sejak Maret tahun lalu dengan membeli vlog atau peralatan budidaya dari tetangga. Hasil panen jamurnya dijual buat sayuran dan kripik dan ada yang untuk konsumsi sendiri,” kata Ariyati.
Ariyati memulai usahanya dengan menggunakan modal Rp 4 juta untuk membeli 2000 vlog jamur. Lalu ditambahkan modal Rp 1,5 juta untuk pengadaan tempat usaha.
Sebagai pemula dalam usaha budidaya jamur, ia menerima pendampingan dari tetangganya hingga sekali panen. Ketika itu hasil panennya sekitar enam kuintal. Ia menjual jamur ke desa lain dengan harga Rp 9 ribu per kilogram.
“Saya ingin kerja tapi tidak keluar rumah. Jadi meski di rumah saja, tetapi tetap dapat penghasilan,” katanya.
