Gereja St Martinus Gandeng Karang Taruna dan PSHT Bantu Banjir Manggungsari
JURNALJATENG.ID, KENDAL – Banyaknya musibah bencana banjir di Kendal, dari umat gereja katolik Weleri, melaksanakan bakti sosial memberikan bantuan paket sembako kepada korban banjir desa manggungsari kecamatan Weleri, Kabupaten Kendal, Rabu (10/2/2021) .
Dalam misi kemanusiaan bantuan diserahkan langsung oleh Pastur Romo Giyono, S.par.Gereja Santo Martinus, Bantuan yang diberikan berupa 100 paket Beras, berisi 5 kg per paketnya.
“Sudah menjadi tugas dan tanggung jawab kita sebagai manusia untuk saling berbagi dan membantu sesama sebagai saudara, selain itu, kami juga mendukung mereka dalam doa agar diberi kekuatan dan penghiburan, ” ucap Pdt giyono.
Ia mengatakan, agar penyaluran bantuan dapat tersaluran pada semua korban yang terdampak bencana khususnya di traju, manggungsari yang sejak hari sabtu-senin terendam banjir.
Seperti kita ketahui bencana banjir yang terjadi 3 hari lalu mengakibatkan 39 rumah terendam pada hari sabtu,hingga merusak tanaman pesawahan disekitarnya.
Salah satu penerima bantuan korban kebanjiran ky.ahmad sobirin,(35) dukuh Traju Desa manggungsari,mengatakan
“Terima kasih atas bantuan yg sudah diberikan kepada saya khususnya masyarakat traju, manggungsari”, ungkapnya
Secara terpisah,Muhammad Amirudin S.Pd.I sapaan Gus Amir, Dalam kesempatan yang sama menyampaikan Terima kasih kepada Segenap umat katolik yang sudah ber empati kpd masyarakat. Khususnya di traju manggungsari ini. Dan selain itu memberikan bantuan yg memang dibutuhkan.
