Lepas Ekspor Senilai Rp23,75 Triliun, Presiden: Jangan Berpuas Diri
JURNALJATENG.ID, JAKARTA – Presiden Joko Widodo melepas ekspor produk-produk Indonesia yang bernilai tambah serta berdaya saing ke pasar global dengan total nilai US$1,64 milyar atau setara Rp23,75 triliun. Kegiatan pelepasan ekspor tersebut dilakukan secara virtual dari Istana Kepresidenan Bogor, Jawa Barat, pada Jumat, 4 Desember 2020.
Dalam sambutannya, Kepala Negara menegaskan bahwa salah satu kunci untuk memperbaiki perekonomian nasional adalah dengan meningkatkan nilai ekspor. Peningkatan tersebut bukan hanya bertujuan membantu pelaku usaha untuk tumbuh dan membuka lapangan kerja, tapi juga untuk menghasilkan devisa dan mengurangi defisit transaksi berjalan.
“Memang, di situasi pandemi dan perekonomian global yang sedang lesu saat ini berdampak pada pasar ekspor yang juga pasti menurun. Namun, kita tidak boleh menyerah, kita harus melihat dengan lebih jeli peluang pasar ekspor yang masih terbuka lebar di negara-negara yang juga sekarang ini sedang mengalami pandemi,” ujarnya.
Ekspor Indonesia periode Januari hingga Oktober 2020 lalu memang menggembirakan, yakni mengalami surplus sebesar US$17,07 miliar. Namun, Kepala Negara meminta pihaknya tak cepat berpuas diri dengan capaian tersebut karena Presiden amat memahami bahwa potensi ekspor Indonesia masih jauh lebih besar dari nilai tersebut.
Kepala Negara mengambil contoh, ekspor komoditas kopi Indonesia tahun 2019 lalu menempati peringkat ke-9 dunia di belakang sejumlah negara seperti Brazil, Swiss, Jerman, Kolombia, bahkan Vietnam. Padahal, di saat bersamaan, Indonesia tercatat sebagai negara produsen kopi terbesar nomor 4 dunia.
Potret kinerja ekspor komoditas kopi tersebut sejalan dengan kinerja ekspor sejumlah komoditas lainnya seperti garmen, kayu ringan, hingga perikanan.
“Saya melihat ketertinggalan tidak harus membuat kita pesimistis. Tidak ada jalan bagi kita selain melakukan langkah-langkah perbaikan dan pembenahan. Diperlukan reformasi besar-besaran pada ekosistem berusaha bagi eksportir kita,” kata Presiden.
Presiden mengingatkan, satu per satu persoalan yang menghambat kinerja ekspor Indonesia harus rutin dicermati dan dicarikan solusinya. Regulasi yang rumit serta prosedur birokrasi yang menghambat juga harus segera dipangkas.
Dalam konteks kerja sama regional, negosiasi terhadap perjanjian-perjanjian kemitraan ekonomi komprehensif (CEPA) juga harus dipercepat, utamanya terhadap negara-negara yang potensial untuk menjadi pasar bagi produk-produk ekspor Indonesia. Selain itu, perjanjian perdagangan yang telah ada juga harus dioptimalkan sambil diikuti dengan upaya mencari pasar-pasar baru di negara-negara nontradisional sehingga pasar ekspor Indonesia semakin meluas.
“Atase perdagangan dan ITPC harus mampu menjadi market agent dan melakukan market intelligence. Daya saing eksportir khususnya usaha kecil dan menengah harus terus ditingkatkan. Gandeng UKM di seluruh Indonesia menjadi satu kesatuan yang kuat untuk memenuhi pesanan,” tuturnya.
Mengakhiri sambutannya, Presiden Joko Widodo juga mengingatkan agar kegiatan pelepasan ekspor serupa itu tidak hanya bersifat seremonial semata, tetapi harus dapat berlanjut untuk menghasilkan nilai ekspor yang semakin meningkat di masa mendatang.
Untuk diketahui, acara pelepasan ekspor ke pasar global tersebut diikuti secara virtual oleh peserta dari 133 perusahaan baik skala besar maupun kecil yang tersebar di sejumlah kota di 16 provinsi dengan tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan ketat di masing-masing titik acara. Pelepasan ditandai dengan berjalannya truk kontainer di masing-masing lokasi yang di antaranya berada di Lamongan, Boyolali, Bandung, Jakarta, Pekanbaru, Medan, Denpasar, Bontang, Makassar, hingga Manokwari.
Hadir mendampingi Presiden dalam acara pelepasan ekspor secara virtual tersebut yaitu Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno. Sementara, Menteri Perdagangan Agus Suparmanto hadir langsung di Kabupaten Lamongan.
