Abu Bakar Bashir Dibebaskan Selepas Sholat Subuh
JURNALJATENG.ID, SEMARANG – Abu Bakar Bashir telah dibebaskan dari Lapas Gunung Sindur sekitar pukul 05:30 pagi setelah shalat Subuh, dengan Hasil Tes COVID Negatif. “Prosesnya berjalan lancar, kita mengecek teklanan darahnya, semuanya baik.”
“Kami menjemputnya ke dalam penjara, satu dokter, pengacara, dan putranya,” jelasnya. berada di sana sejak pukul 11 malam kemarin, tapi menunggu sampai Ustad Abu Bakar Bashir bangun pada pukul 03:00 pagi.” secara teori ia sudah bebas sejak pukul 00:00 dan setelah pertimbangan, kami ingin menghindari kerumunan,” kata Achmad.
Kini Bashir dalam perjalanan menuju kediamannya di Sukoharjo dengan didampingi keluarga dan tim pengacara dengan pengawalan oleh Densus 88 dan Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme (BNPT).
Rika Aprianti, Kepala Bagian Humas dan Protokol Direktorat Jenderal Pemasyarakatan, mengatakan Bashir telah dibebaskan dengan menggunakan protokol kesehatan, termasuk melewati tes anti gen dengan hasil negatif.
Putra Bashir, Abdul Rahim Bashir sebelumnya mengatakan keluarga tidak akan menyiapkan penyambutan kedatangan Bashir di kediamannya, yakni Pondok Pesantren Al Mukmin, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah.
Abu Bakar Bashir dibebaskan setelah selesai menjalani hukuman vonis 15 tahun dikurangi remisi sebanyak 55 bulan. sekarang berusia 82 tahun sering disebut sebagai pemimpin spiritual jaringan Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) yang memiliki hubungan dengan Al Qaeda.
JI dituduh berperan besar dalam bom Bali di tahun 2002 yang menewaskan lebih dari 200 orang, 83 orang diantaranya adalah warga Australia. Dan dituduh menjadi dalang dalam serangan Hotel JW Marriot di Jakarta pada tahun 2003 yang menewaskan 12 orang.
Ridwan Habib, seorang pengamat masalah keamanan di Indonesia mengatakan, pengaruh Bashir sudah melemah, namun anggota militan mungkin akan tetap menggunakan nama Bashir.”Bashir adalah tokoh senior dalam gerakan jihadis di Indonesia dan tidak mustahil nama besarnya akan digunakan oleh yang lain.
Beberapa keluarga yang anggotanya meninggal saat peristiwa Bom Bali 2002 menyampaikan kekhawatiran dengan pembebasan Bashir. Salah satunya adalah Sandra Thompson, yang kehilangan putranya Clint yang tewas dalam ledakan bom tersebut di kawasan Kuta yang terjadi 18 tahun lalu.
“Orang ini membunuh 202 orang dan sejumlah itulah hukuman seumur hidup yang harus dijalaninya,” kata Sandra kepada ABC dari rumahnya di New South Wales.
Sandra mengatakan meski peristiwa ledakan bom Bali itu sudah terjadi 18 tahun yang lalu, Bashir masih tetap berbahaya.”Dia akan kembali mengajarkan apa yang diajarkannya sebelumnya,” kata Sandra.”Dia tidak pernah mengatakan menyesal, dia tidak pernah meminta maaf. Dia masih berpikir dia melakukan hal yang benar.”
