Menteri PUPR Basuki: Pembangunan Infrastruktur Menunjang KITB
JURNALJATENG.ID, BATANG – Dandim Batang Letkol Arh. Yan Eka Putra bersama Forkompinda mendampingi kunjungan kerja menteri PUPR RI Basuki Hadi Muljono saat meninjau perkembangan infrastruktur, di Kawasan Industri di Kecamatan Gringsing, Kabupaten Batang, Minggu (7/2/21).
Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (Kemen-PU-PR) RI akan mempercepat pembangunan infrastruktur untuk menunjang Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB).
“Dari total luas 3.100 hektar, kami akan memprioritaskan fase 1 seluas 450 hektar, supaya mempercepat investasi di tahun ini. Kita akan mempercepat pembangunan jalan, jaringan listrik. Sedangkan investor tinggal membangun pabriknya,” ungkapnya.
Dijelaskan, saat ini ada 4 investor besar yang masuk di kuartal ketiga. Dengan target tahun 2021 selesai tepat waktu.
“Ada 2 tahap mulai dari pembangunan saluran air dengan kecepatan 450 liter per detik. Setelah dibangunnya bendungan Kedunglanggar yang akan mampu mengairi KITB dan masyarakat sekitar,” terangnya.
Basuki juga memastikan, para pekerja tidak perlu khawatir, karena Rumah Susun Pekerja, akan selesai tahun ini.
“Ada 10 tower untuk para pekerja. Jadi semuanya harus disiapkan secara cepat, dan ditargetkan tahun ini selesai,” tegasnya.
Pihaknya menerangkan, pemerintah tegas-tegas melarang impor untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pembangunan infrastruktur, seperti aspal, lampu-lampu penerangan jalan, dan lainnya.
Ia menambahkan, untuk membantu perekonomian daerah, Pemkab Batang harus lebih mengutamakan pemanfaatan tenaga kerja lokal. Sehingga dapat mengurangi beban masyarakat yang saat ini terdampak pandemi.
Sementara itu, Bupati Batang Wihaji mengatakan, pembangunan KIT bertujuan untuk menciptakan lapangan kerja baru, khususnya bagi masyarakat Kabupaten Batang.
“Pemanfaatan tenaga kerja lokal dimulai untuk mengerjakan pekerjaan-pekerjaan infrastruktur ringan yang tidak memerlukan alat berat, melainkan tenaga manusia,” ungkapnya.
Diperkirakan jumlah tenaga kerja yang dapat terserap mencapai 140 ribu orang dalam waktu 5 tahun kedepan. Terkait investor-investor yang telah terdaftar, hal itu menurut Bupati, menjadi wewenang BKPM.
“Insya Allah kalau sudah selesai penandatanganan kerja sama akan dipaparkan sejelas-jelasnya,” tegasnya.
Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Direktur Utama KITB, Galih Saksono memperkirakan pembangunan jalan akan selesai di bulan Juni.
“Tahapan pembangunan yang harus ditempuh mulai dari jalan, sarana air minum, rumah susun untuk pekerja. Untuk jembatan akan selesai bulan April, khusus untuk mempermudah akses menuju KITB saja,” tandasnya.
