KENDAL, jurnaljateng.id, Beredarny Pesan bernada menyerang ke salah satu bakal pasangan calon bupati dan wakil bupati Kendal atau yang biasa disebut black Campaign (kampanye hitam) tersebar secara massif di media sosial.

Salah satu yang mengalami adalah pasangan Nurani (Ali Nurudin dan Yekti Handayani).

Dalam beberapa hari ini, ada pesan berantai di salah satu aplikasi, juga dikirim di media sosial, menyebut Nurani dan mempertanyakan siapa komisaris perusahaan kontraktor yang sering dapat proyek APBD.

“Mau bohongi masyarakat Kendal? Ngaku ber-nurani!!! Coba dicek deh, siapa yang paling merusak alam Kendal melalui PT Selomukti pemilik Galian C,” bunyi meme yang diunggah di sebuah akun instagram.

Diketahui, Yekti Handayani, cawabup dari bapaslon Nurani, tercatat sebagai komisaris di PT Cahaya Selomukti Indonesia dan PT Cahaya Selomukti, perusahaan yang pertama bergerak di pertambangan batuan pasir, batu, dan tanah urug. Perusahaan yang kedua di bidang kontraktor dan perdagangan, salah satunya batching plant (pengecoran dan beton).

Menanggapi hal tersebut, Ani membenarkan dirinya menjabat sebagai komisaris di PT Cahaya Selomukti Indonesia dan PT Cahaya Selomukti. Soal perusahaannya disebut sering mendapatkan proyek dari APBD Kendal, Ani mengatakan pihaknya selama ini tidak terlibat dalam pengerjaan proyek dari APBD.

“Kami mempersilakan pihak yang melemparkan isu maupun masyarakat untuk mengkroscek langsung ke pemerintah kabupaten Kendal maupun instansi terkait,” ungkapnya kepada media, Selasa (22/9/2020).

Dikatakan, terkait tuduhan PT Selomukti telah merusak lingkungan dari kegiatan penambangan galian C, Ani menyatakan bahwa perusahaannya beroperasi dengan mengantongi perizinan yang sah.

“Batching plant, tambang, crusher, semua ada izinnya. Logika sederhananya begini, orang menjalankan usaha, apalagi kalau sudah besar, melihatnya kepastian hukum. Kami berinvestasi dengan nilai yang tidak kecil ini, kalau tidak ada izinnya, tidak akan berani,” terang Ani.

Menyoal aktivitas penambangan galian C yang dianggap merusak lingkungan, Ani justru bertanya balik, memang apa yang salah dengan galian C?

“Yang mengeluarkan izinnya adalah pemerintah. Izin itu dikeluarkan berdasarkan peraturan dan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Bahkan dalam beroperasinya, perusahaan pemegang izin berada dalam pengawasan dari instansi terkait,” jelasnya.

“Satu hal lagi yang mungkin belum banyak diketahui publik, bahwa sebelum izin penambangan diterbitkan, ada banyak persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi oleh pengusaha tambang,” imbuhnya.

Ani mencontohkan adanya Jaminan Reklamasi (Jamrek), yakni pengusaha menyetorkan sejumlah uang ke negara sebagai jaminan.

Diterangkan, uang Jamrek ini tidak bisa diambil dan bisa diambil setelah perusahaan melakukan reklamasi. Seandainya perusahaan tidak menjalankan reklamasi, imbuhnya, uang inilah yang akan digunakan untuk mereklamasi.

“Jadi, apa yang salah dengan galian C? Kalau memang galian C illegal, saya sangat setuju untuk ditertibkan karena merugikan negara maupun pengusaha. Di satu pihak merugikan negara karena ada potensi pemasukan yang hilang, belum lagi dampak kerusakan lingkungan siapa yang bertanggungjawab,” ujarnya.

Terhadap semua tuduhan tersebut, Ani menyadari posisinya yang saat ini maju sebagai Cawabup tak luput dari serangan politik. Namun demikian pihaknya percaya masyarakat Kendal mampu menyaring setiap informasi yang beredar di media sosial.

“Karena saya basicnya bukan politikus, tapi saya pengusaha dan alhamdulilah masih bisa menjalani passion saya sebagai guru, saya menanggapinya sewajarnya saja. Apakah itu ada muatan politik atau tidak, saya tanggapi sesuai kapasitas saya, sesuai keadaan yang memang saya alami dan saya ketahui,” ucapnya

“Jujur, bahkan sampai hari ini pun saya masih belum percaya saya maju sebagai Cawabup. Tapi karena ini juga dawuh dari guru saya, abah Adib, saya niati bismillah, semoga bisa memberi manfaat untuk masyarakat Kendal,” pungkas Ani.

    And then there are advancements in technology. “Side-scan sonar used to cost $100,000 back in 1980,” he said. “The one we used to find this (shipwreck) was just over $10,000. They’ve really come down in price.”

    The National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA, has a project in the works to map the bottom of the Great Lakes in high resolution by 2030. If the organization succeeds, all shipwrecks will be found, Baillod said.

    In the meantime, Baillod said he hopes he and his team will continue to discover missing shipwrecks from his database in the coming years and bring along citizen scientists for the ride: “I keep looking, and I don’t doubt that we’ll keep finding.”

    The government also argues that the judge who issued the Nov. 21 order preventing her removal lacked jurisdiction because by then, Lopez Belloza was already in Texas on her way out of the country.     According to Lopez Belloza, when she refused to sign a form consenting to deportation and asked to call her parents or a lawyer, a “tall, muscular, intimidating” ICE officer “said it didn’t matter if I spoke to a lawyer because I was going to be deported anyway.” She later was allowed to call her family from Massachusetts, but that was before she knew she would be flown to Texas and then Honduras.

    In a separate filing, lawyers for Lopez Belloza said the government acted “in bad faith and with furtiveness” by failing to answer phone calls to the Boston-area ICE office or update its detainee locator database and by moving her without allowing her to notify her parents or counsel. They asked a judge to schedule a hearing and allow Lopez Belloza to return to the US to testify.

    A CBS News spokesperson had no immediate comment on the astonishing turn of events.

    Alfonsi’s report was weeks in the making. Weiss screened it for the first time last Thursday night. The story was finalized on Friday, according to CBS sources, and was announced in a press release that same day.

    On Saturday morning, Weiss began to change her mind about the story and raised concerns about its content, including the lack of responses from the relevant Trump administration officials.

    But networks like CBS sometimes deliver taped programming to affiliates like Global TV ahead of time. That appears to be what happened in this case: The Friday version of the “60 Minutes” episode is what streamed to Canadian viewers.

    The inadvertent Canadian stream is “the best thing that could have happened,” a CBS source told CNN on Monday evening, arguing that the Alfonsi piece is “excellent” and should have been televised as intended.

    People close to Weiss have argued that the piece was imbalanced, however, because it did not include interviews with Trump officials.

    Weiss told staffers on Monday, “We need to be able to get the principals on the record and on camera.” However, in an earlier memo to colleagues, Alfonsi asserted that her team tried, and their “refusal to be interviewed” was “a tactical maneuver designed to kill the story.”

    At the end of the segment that streamed on Global TV’s platform, Alfonsi said Homeland Security “declined our request for an interview and referred all questions about CECOT to El Salvador. The government there did not respond to our request.”

    The segment included sound bites from President Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. But it was clearly meant to be a story about Venezuelan men deported to El Salvador, not about the officials who implemented Trump’s mass deportation policy.

    A “ghost ship” that sank in Lake Michigan nearly 140 years ago and eluded several search efforts over the past five decades has been found, according to researchers with the Wisconsin Underwater Archeology Association.

    The wooden schooner got caught in a storm in the dead of night and went down in September 1886. In the weeks after, a lighthouse keeper reported the ship’s masts breaking the lake surface, and fishermen caught pieces of the vessel in their nets. Still, wreck hunters were unable to track down the ship’s location — until now.

    Earlier this year, a team of researchers with the Wisconsin Underwater Archeology Association and Wisconsin Historical Society located the shipwreck off the coastal town of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin, the association announced on Sunday.

    Named the F.J. King, the ship had become a legend within the Wisconsin wreck hunter community for its elusive nature, said maritime historian Brendon Baillod, principal investigator and project lead of the discovery.

    “We really wanted to solve this mystery, and we didn’t expect to,” Baillod told CNN. “(The ship) seemed to have just vanished into thin air. … I actually couldn’t believe we found it.”

    The wreck is just one of many that have been found in the Great Lakes in recent years, and there are still hundreds left to be recovered in Lake Michigan alone, according to Baillod.

    The ‘ghost ship’
    Built in 1867, the F.J. King plied the waters of the Great Lakes for the purpose of trans-lake commerce. The ship transported grains during a time when Wisconsin served as the breadbasket of the United States. The 144-foot-long (44-meter) vessel also carried cargo including iron ore, lumber and more.

    The ship had a lucrative 19-year career until that September night when a gale-force wind caused its seams to break apart, according to the announcement. The captain, William Griffin, ordered the crew to evacuate on the ship’s yawl boat, from where they watched the F.J. King sink, bow first.
