Kepedulian masyarakat dalam menjaga komitmen bergerak bersama membangun kota adalah hal yang nyata di kota semarang tidak hanya selogan atau seremonial belaka. Terbukti adanya forum – forum yang masif dari masyarakat dalam rangka membantu pemerintah Kota Semarang untuk menjalankan proses pembangunan. Ada Forum Komunikasi Ormas Semarang Bersatu ( FKSB) kota semarang, FKUB, DMI, MUI, Petamas, DPD SAPU JAGAD dan LEMBAGA lainnya.
Forum komunikasi Ormas Semarang Bersatu (FKSB) Kota Semarang Yang merupakan induk resmi berhimpunnya ORMAS dan LSM Semarang, senantiasa menjunjung tinggi nilai Komitmen untuk menjaga Kebersamaan dan menjaga Toleransi serta menjaga Kondusif di Kota Semarang. Peran serta masa PILWALKOT sangat kentara bahwa semua kekuatan bergerak.
Dalam rangka menjaga Solidaritas dan Merajut kerukunan Umat Beragama di Kota Semarang Pengurus FKSB melakukan Safari kunjungan ke Gereja dan Patroli Keamanan yang disebar dalam 4 zona yang berada di 16 Kecamatan .
Setidaknya ada 16 Ormas yang turut terlibat dalam Aktifis Patroli dan Penjagaan menjelang Natal dan Tahun Baru.
Termasuk juga kunjungan ke Tokoh Agama yang sedang merayakan Natal yaitu Pendeta Sediyoko M.Si di Lempongsari Semarang.
