Gazhali, Petani Anggrek Sukses Sambil Kuliah Dari Pamekasan

JURNALJATENG.ID, MALANG – Banyak kisah dan jalan kesuksesan seseorang. Seorang pemuda asal Desa Sentol, Kecamatan Pademawu, Kabupaten Pamekasan, Jawa Timur, Ziyad Ifdhal Gazhali (28).

Pria kelahiran 22 November 1992 telah menjalani berbagai pekerjaan mulai menjadi pengemudi ojek online hingga pelayanan catering di hotel untuk penghasilan sehari-hari dan biaya kuliahnya.

Bagi Gazhali kesuksesan itu memang harus di raih dengan perjuangan dan kerja keras, segala sesuatu kalau dilakukan dengan sungguh-sungguh pasti akan membuahkan hasil.

Kuliah sambil berbisnis bukan suatu hal yang mustahil untuk dilakukan. Sudah banyak kisah sukses, mahasiswa kuliah sambil berbisnis seperti yang di lakukan Gazhali.

Selama menempuh pendidikan S2 manajemen pendidikan di UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim, Malang, Ia menempuh kuliahnya sambil bekerja.

“Saya kan dari keluarga tidak mampu, jadi saya berangkat ke Malang modal nekat dan bismillah, saya berangkat dari Madura ke Malang cuma bawa Rp 700 ribu,” ungkapnya, Minggu (15/8/2021).

Namun, pekerjaan itu hanya dijalaninya enam bulan, karena lebih tertarik budidaya tanaman anggrek, setelah belajar tentang wirausaha di sebuah pondok pesantren.

Dia menyampaikan, dirinya memilih tinggal di ponpes karena demi menghemat biaya, karena sudah tidak mampu untuk bayar kontrakan.

Bahkan titik terberat yang dirasakan alumni IAIN Madura itu, pada saat ibunya meninggal dunia saat dirinya masih berjuang menempuh pendidikan S2. Sementara sang ayah telah meninggal sebelum dia lahir.

“Waktu Ibu saya meninggal, itu titik terberat , saya tidak punya uang , bahkan untuk makan saja saya dibantu teman, numpang di kosan teman, hingga pada akhirnya saya pindah ke pondok pesantren,” ujarnya dikutib dari KBRN.

Tidak ingin larut dalam kesedihan, karena hidup harus terus berjalan, pria yang akrab disapa Ziy ini, membuka usaha tanaman anggrek.

Menurut pria yang akrab disapa Ziy itu, semula dirinya hanya membantu menjualkan tanaman anggrek milik orang lain, namun karena tidak ingin selamanya bergantung pada orang lain, di akhir 2018 silam, dirinya memulai menjadi petani anggrek di depan rumahnya sendiri di Pamekasan.

Kini di kebun berukuran 5 X 9 meter miliknya, Ziy merawat dan menjual berbagai jenis anggrek. Dari bisnis tersebut, Ziy mendapat keuntungan jutaan rupiah.

Tidak hanya di pulau Jawa, tapi dia sudah merambah pasar di pulau Jawa seperti Kalimantan dan Riau.

“Namanya juga dagang, pendapatan pasti fluktuatif, sekitar 2 sampai 3 juta per bulan, tapi itu juga tergantung stok,” ucapnya.

Pria yang mempunyai cita-cita menjadi dosen itu menuturkan, kedepan tidak hanya ingin menjual anggrek, tetapi diirinya mempunyai rencana untuk membuka taman flora, untuk mengedukasi para siswa di Kabupaten Pamekasan tentang berbagai jenis tanaman hias secara gratis.

“Karena pesan kiai di ponpes saya tinggal selama menempuh pendidikan di Malang, sesibuk-sibuknya kamu jualan atau jadi bos, sisakan satu hari dalam satu minggu untuk mengajar,” kata Ziy.

Dia menambahkan, peluang bisnis tanaman hias ini semakin terbuka di masa pandemi covid-19, mengingat banyak orang yang lebih lama menghabiskan waktu atau kerja dari rumah, sehingga untuk mengurangi kejenuhannya, mereka merawat tanaman hias, salah satunya adalah anggrek.

“Modal membuka usaha itu harus percaya diri, kemudian membuka jaringan teman dan terus berinovasi,” tutupnya.
