Pemotor Tabrak Kakek Pengendara Sepeda Pancal Hingga Tewas
JURNALJATENG.ID, PONOROGO – Di Ponorogo, Jawa Timur, seorang kakek pengendara sepeda pancal tewas ditabrak pemotor yang di kemudikan anak muda, Selasa (15/ 12). Sang kakek tewas seketika di tempat kejadian, sedangkan anak muda mengalami rompal gigi dan sobek bibirnya.
Insiden kecelakaan lalu lintas di perempatan Jalan M.T. Haryono, Kelurahan Jenglong, Kecamatan Kota, itu sempat menjadi perhatian publik setempat maupun pelintas jalan.
Beberapa saat sebelum petugas kepolisian setempat tiba mengevakuasi, kedua korban yang tergeletak berdampingan itu menjadi tontonan masyarakat.
Menurut Sutomo, pengguna jalan yang melintas di lokasi kejadian, kepada jurnalis menuturkan, sepeda pancal yang dikayuh Slamet, 65 tahun, warga Kelurahan Mangkujayan, Kecamatan Kota, itu ditabrak dari samping pemotor, Diva Arya Bima Sutanto, 18 tahun, warga Kelurahan Kauman, Kecamatan Kota.
Lebih jelas dipaparkan Sutomo, Slamet yang mengayuh sepeda pancalnya dari arah Timur bermaksud belok ke kanan saat berada di perempatan jalan.
Di waktu yang bersamaan, Diva Arya dengan motornya bernopol AE 3327 WC meluncur keras dari arah Selatan ke Utara. “Kedua kendaraan itu sudah sangat dekat sehingga sepeda pancal ditabrak motor dari sisi kirinya,” jelas Sutomo.
Saking kerasnya benturan, kedua kendaraan yang terlibat tabrakan terpental. Helm pengaman yang dikenakan Diva copot. Sedangkan Slamet tewas seketika akibat pecah kepalanya.
Aparat kepolisian lalu lintas Polres Ponorogo yang tiba di lokasi kejadian, langsung mengevakuasi kedua korban tersebut. Jasad Slamet dikirim ke Kamar Jenazah RSUD dr. Haryono, sementara Diva dibawa ke UGD rumah sakit yang sama.
Penyebab pasti terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas ini masih dalam penyelidikan pihak berwajib setempat. Beberapa saksi mata yang mengetahui peristiwanya, dimintai keterangan polisi.
Bangkai kedua kendaraan yang terlibat kecelakaan, sepeda pancal dan sepeda motor, diamankan polisi di Pos Polisi terdekat sebagai barang bukti.
