Bermitra kerja dengan Badan Pengawasan Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) adakan acara edukasi dan sosialisasi tentang Penanggulangan Obat Terlarang dan Makanan Kadaluwarsa, Serta Dampak Bahayanya’ di tempat aula Villa Kayu Celosia, Gedung songo, Kec.Bandungan, Kab.Semarang, Rabu (26/05/21) siang.
Penyelenggaraan acara edukasi dan sosialisasi tersebut dilakukan secara virtual. Dihadiri DPRD FPDIP Komisi D Kab.Semarang, HR Supriyadi, Edward Saragih, tenaga ahli staff Tuti Nusandari R, Kepala Bid.infokom Balai BPOM Semarang, Sis Budiyono, camat Bandungan Anang Sukoco, S.STP, MSi dan beberapa staff, serta tamu undangan kecamatan, kelurahan dan para relawan.
Dalam teleconference virtual Tuti Nusandari R menyampaikan kepada masyarakat untuk dapat lebih teliti dan cermat dalam memilih obat maupun makanan yang dikonsumsi. Apakah aman atau beresiko bahaya dampaknya.
“Oleh karena itu, sebelum membeli obat atau makanan. Terlebih dahulu dicek, diteliti dan dicermati. Baik kemasannya, lebel, izin edar dan tanggal kadaluwarsa,” jelas Tuti.
Sementara itu, menurut HR Supriyadi, anggota Dprd komisi D Kab.Semarang saat dikonfirmasi berada ditempat acara tersebut mengatakan, bahwa apa yang disampaikan merupakan bagian dari edukasi, pendidikan bagi masyarakat. Dengan harapan agar masyarakat lebih tahu, mengerti dan jelas.
“Disamping itu, perlu untuk diketahui bahwa edukasi dan sosialisasi ini tidak sebatas tentang bagaimana memilih dan membeli obat makanan yang aman dan baik untuk dikonsumsi. Namun juga memaparkan edukasi dan sosialisasi tentang penanggulangan dan pencegahan bahaya obat-obatan dan minuman terlarang bagi masyarakat,” terangnya.
Lebih lanjut dirinya menjelaskan, diketahui daerah wilayah Bandungan yang merupakan tempat surganya bagi para wisata dan banyak tempat penginapan, baik hotel maupun motel, tentunya sangat rawan dan mudah kemasukan obat-obat dan minuman terlarang.
“Untuk itu diperlukan mencegahan dan penanggulangan sejak dini, yakni dengan memberikan edukasi dan sosialisasi pada masyarakat akan bahayanya mengkonsumsi obat-obatan dan minuman terlarang,” jelasnya tersenyum.
Penyelenggaraan acara edukasi dan sosialisasi diakhiri dengan membagikan tali asih dan souvenir pada tamu undangan sebagai bentuk terima kasih dan ikatan emosional (kedekatan).
