Warga Johar Baru Bersama Generasi Emas Meriahkan HUT RI Ke-76
JURNALJATENG.ID, SEMARANG – Perayaan Hari Ulang Tahun Republik Indonesia (HUT RI) selalu dinantikan Warga Negara Indonesia dari berbagai kalangan dengan cara mengadakan lomba atau berbagai kegiatan positif lainnya.
Yayasan Generasi Emas Indonesia dan PT. Dani Sariwana megajak Warga Johar Baru Kota Semarang untuk ikut ambil bagian dalam perayaanHUT RI Ke 76. Perayaan diisi dengan berbagai lomba dan pembagian sembako serta makanan kotak kepada warga yang membutuhkan.
Ketua Yayasan Generasi Emas Indonesia Samuel Victor Repi mengatakan, lembaga yang dipimpinya bergerak dibidang pendampingan sosial dan rehabilitasi sosial bagi Anak dan masyarakat yang tidak mampu di Kota Semarang.
Di dalamnya adalah anak-anak jalanan, anak terlantar, anak-anak yang tanpa bimbingan maksimal dari orang tua mereka serta orang tua yang bekerja sebagai pemulung dan pengamen.
“Sebagian besar mereka yang ada di Johar Baru ini bekerja seperti itu, dan kami dari Yayasan Emas Indonesia punya pendampingan tiap hari kamis di tempat ini (Lokasi Pasar Johar Baru), Kami juga punya Paud ditempat ini, hari Selasa, Rabu dan Jumat.” ungkap Victor.
Tujuannya, lanjut Victor untuk pembinaan secara mental bagi anak-anak Paud yang berjumlah 40 anak dan dibekali pendidikan serta ketrampilan.
“Tujuan pembinaan adalah supaya mereka dibina secara mental, lalu juga di bekali dengan ketrampilan, dan yang paling utama adalah pendidikan kepada anak-anak.” Jelasnya.
Perwakilan PT. Dani Sariwana, Pdt. Cornelius Darto, menyampaikan dukunganya serta suport untuk Yayasan Generasi Emas dalam melakukan kegiatan sosialnya bagi warga Johar Baru.
“Dalam hari-hari ini membantu sembako dan juga nasi dos untuk warga johar baru dan pondok boro. Setiap minggu seribu dua ratus terbagi dari dua bagian, tiap hari rabu enam ratus dan hari sabtu enam ratus.” jelas Pendeta Darto mewakili PT, Dani Sariwana.
Pembagian dan distribusi disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan lanjutnya. Mulai dari masjid, gereja dan Panti Asuhan Muslim. Dengan berbagi kasih tersebut, harapan kedepannya, nama Yesus dipermuliakan yang merupakan kerinduan dan pesan dari PT. Dani Sariwana.
“Supaya orang banyak tersentuh melalui perbuatan kasih kita, sehingga banyak orang percaya dan bahkan dapat melihat kebaikan Tuhan atas kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh PT. Dani Sariwana.” Pungkasnya.
Untuk diketahui, Yayasan Generasi Emas Indonesia melayani pelayanan sosial di tiga lokasi yang berada di Kota Semarang, diantaranya di Gunung Berintik, Medoho, dan Pondok Boro dengan jumlah orang yang dilayani ada 350.
