Cuaca Buruk, Petugas Takut Singkirkan Rontokan Punggung Gunung Lawu
JURNALJATENG.ID, MAGETAN – Petugas kebencanaan wilayah Magetan, Jawa Timur, belum berani turun tangan membersihkan onggokan material longsor di Desa Puntuk Doro, Kecamatan Plaosan, yang terjadi Sabtu (12/ 12), akibat deraan hujan durasi panjang. Material berupa bebatuan, lumpur dan pepohonan liar, akibat rontoknya bukit setinggi kisaran 100 meter itu masih menggumpal menutup akses jalan antar desa.
Operator Pusdalops BPBD MAGETAN, Ulung, dihubungi jurnalis, Minggu (13/ 12, menyebut kondisi cuaca dan kondisi tanah labil yang membuat para petugas belum berani melakukan kegiatan pembersihan material longsor.
“Kondisi saat ini hujan. Tanah daerah sana labil. Memungkinan terjadinya longsor susulan. Itu berbahaya jika dilakukan kegiatan di areal bawahnya” papar Ulung.
Dilanjutkan Ulung, sekitar 50 kepala keluarga yang bermukim di sekitar bencana alam juga belum perlu dilakukan pengungsian. Menurutnya, jarak runtuhan bukit dengan perumahan penduduk dianggap masih relatif aman.
“Tidak ada rumah warga yang terkena material longsor. Hanya menara masjid terkena timpahan batang bambu,” tambahnya.
Sementara cuaca wilayah Magetan, secara umum pada Minggu siang hingga petang, kembali tergusur hujan. Meski demikian, dikatakan Ulung, pihaknya belum mendapat laporan adanya tanah longsor baru, selain di Desa Puntuk Doro, Kecamatan Plaosan.
Sementara dilaporkan beberapa petugas penanggulangan bencana setempat, jalur tembus Sarangan (Magetan/ Jawa Timur) menuju Tawang Mangu (Karang Anyar/ Jawa Tengah) dalam kondisi dipenuhi kabut sangat tebal.
“Jarak pandang amat pendek karena tertutup kabut. Harus ekstra hati hati para pengguna jalan yang melintas disitu. Jika tidak dipakai mendesak lebih baik lewat jalur alternatif lainnya,” himbau petugas PMI setempat.
Turkiman, relawan yang bernaung di PMI Magetan, menyebutkan akibat banjir semalam beberapa rumah warga di bilangan Perumahan Lentera, Kecamatan Kota, kebanjiran. Ketinggian air mencapai 30 senti meter, dan dibersihkan dengan bantuan tenaga relawan PMI.
Saat ini wilayah Magetan kembali diguyur hujan, dengan intensitas ringan hingga sedang. Mengingat Magetan merupakan daerah rawan longsor, lantaran berada di kaki Gunung Lawu, masyarakat luas, utamanya pendatang, diminta mewaspadai segala kemungkinan terjadinya bencana.
