Bupati Eka Supria Atmaja: Bekasi Sudah Siap Hadapi Banjir
JURNALJATENG.ID, BEKASI – Bupati Bekasi, H Eka Supria Atmaja menyampaikan Pemerintah Kabupaten Bekasi sudah siap dalam menghadapi banjir yang tengah melanda Kabupaten Bekasi tahun ini.
Hal itu disampaikannya usai meninjau sejumlah titik banjir di Kabupaten Bekasi. Salah satunya di Desa Karangsari, Kecamatan Cikarang Timur, baru-baru ini.
“Secara prinsip Kabupaten Bekasi sudah siap menghadapi banjir, tim kita dari BPBD, Dinkes, Dinsos, kecamatan dan desa dibantu TNI dan Polri. Jadi ketika informasi bencana itu kita dapatkan, kita sudah siap semuanya untuk menghadapi bencana baik banjir atau lainnya,” kata Bupati saat ditemui wartawan, Kamis (11/02/2021) siang.
Untuk banjir kali ini posko-posko banjir, dapur umum dan tim kesehatan sudah siap siaga menghadapi permasalahan yang timbul karena banjir. Dikatakannya bila dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya bencana tahun sebelumnya lebih parah dari pada tahun ini. Meski begitu Kabupaten Bekasi sudah siap siaga menghadapinya.
“Dari awal sudah kita antisipasi diantaranya dengan normalisasi kali di Tambun, Cikarang termasuk di Kali Ulu juga, tapi memang curah hujan cukup tinggi. Harapannya agar kedepan ada skala prioritas pembangunan tanggul di sekitar sungai,” tambahnya.
Selain itu ia menghimbau kepada masyarakat untuk tetap menjaga kebersihan dengan tidak membuang sampah ke sungai serta masyarakat bahu membahu membersihkan saluran selokan masing-masing agar hujan yang meningkat tentu saja tidak menyumbat dan mengakibatkan banjir.
“Kita harus sadar akan kebersihan lingkungan khususnya selokan agar di musim hujan sperti ini air lancar dan tidak mengakibatkan banjir,” terangnya.
Diakui Bupati menyikapi persoalan banjir yang merendam Kabupaten Bekasi, Pemerintah Kabupaten Bekasi sudah menaikkan status Kabupaten Bekasi menjadi tanggap darurat bencana banjir.
“Kita terus bergerak beserta BPBD Kabupaten Bekasi dan juga unsur muspida terkait dengan penanganan banjir seperti evakuasi, penyelamatan sekaligus penyediaan bahan pokok yang nantinya diberikan kepada masyarakat yang saat ini memang terdampak banjir,” kata Eka.
Sebelumnya, Komunitas Esa Asa Kita terus gencar melakukan kegiatan sosial, dimana kebutuhan ekonomi masyarakat sedang menurut akibat wabah virus Covid 19.
Seperti halnya penyaluran bantuan bahan pangan berupa sembako kepada korban bencana banjir di 5 kecamatan yakni, Kecamatan Kedungwaringin, Cabangbungin, Sukakarya, Muaragembong, dan Tambun Utara.
“Kami berikan bantuan berupa makanan, air mineral serta bahan pangan lainnya untuk bekal mereka (korban banjir-red) sehari-hari,” ucapnya Ketua Umum Esa Asa Kita, Ano Susanto, Rabu (9/2/2021).
Selain memberikan bantuan, ia mengaku turun langsung ke lokasi guna memberi semangat agar masyarakat lebih meningkatkan iman dan takwa kepada Allah SWT.
“Mudah-mudahan bantuan kami diterima oleh allah dan menjadi berkah bagi semua,” harapnya.
Bantuan ini kata Ano, akan terus dilakukan sebab kita sebagai umat beragama mesti berbagi kepada sesama seperti yang diajarkan oleh Nabi Muhammad S.A.W.
“Upaya ini kami lakukan dengan ikhlas dan tidak berharap apapun melainkan ridho Allah SWT. Semoga banjir ini cepat berlalu dan jangan sampai menelan korban,” kata dia.
Diketahui, banjir yang melanda di 5 wilayah itu berbeda dari sepinggang orang dewasa sampai selutut.
“Saya berharap bantuan ini dapat mengurangi beban korban, walaupun kebutuhan yang mereka butuhkan sangat banyak,” tandasnya.
