Soal Gadget, Pola Pikir Yang Kini Harus Dirubah
JURNALJATENG.ID, JAKARTA – Dokter yang menjadi bintang iklan dan Juru Bicara Pemerintah pandemi Covid-19 Reisa Broto Asmoro mengatakan, saat ini tidak bisa lagi berfikir gadget sebagai sarana hiburan belaka, melainkan juga sebagai alat yang memiliki manfaat lebih.
Anak-anak saat ini sedang menjalani pembelajaran jarak jauh yaitu dengan sisti dalam jaringan (Daring) atau secara online akibat dari pandemi Covid-19. Gadget menjadi salah satu keharusan yang tidak bisa dilepaskan dan ditinggalkan dalam proses belajar saat ini dari mereka.
“Di masa sekarang tidak seperti zaman dulu. Sekolah pun pakai gadget. Kita maksimalkan di luar waktu sekolah. Kita anggap gawai sebagai tools untuk mendapatkan manfaat, jangan lagi dianggap hiburan semata,” ujar dia dalam sebuah webinar kesehatan tentang parenting, Senin (19/7/21).
Menurutnya, selain mendapatkan hiburan melalui gadget, anak dapat meyerap ilmu dari gadgetnya. Mereka juga dapat berinteraksi dengan dunia luar, pendidik dan teman-temanya melalui gadget.
Dengan demikian, orang tua perlu memantau apa yang anak lakukan, tonton melalui Gadgetnya. Pastikan, anak mengakses sesuatu yang baik dengan melakukan pendampingan. Orang tua juga bisa cek histori penggunaan gadget yang digunakan putra-putrinya.
“Anak ketika menonton, bermain harus ada supervisi dari orang tua atau caretaker. Agar bisa dipastikan dia dapat ilmu, bukan hanya main atau justru dapatkan hal negatif,” kata Reisa.
Terkait informasi salah atau hoaks lanjut Raisa, yang kini bertebaran melalui berbagai media dan mudah diakses melalui gadget, Reisa berpesan agar Anda memastikan kebenaran informasi itu misalnya berasal dari sumber kredibel atau bukan.
“Pilihlah informasi yang sudah divalidasi kebenarannya. Kita harus memastikan informasi berasal dari sumber kredibel,” kata dia.
Selain berbicara soal gadget dan hoaks, Reisa juga berbagi pengalamannya selama menjadi orang tua. Menurutnya, momen paling berkesan saat menyadari sebagai orang tua, justru bisa banyak belajar dari anak mereka.
