JURNALJATENG.ID, SEMARANG – Muhammad Rodhi. M.Pd dengan sapaan Gus Rodhi, dikalangan PA (Panti Asuhan) di kota Semarang cukup dikenal terutama diwilayah Banget Ayu Wetan Kota Semarang sudah menjadi tersohor. Figur yang kalem dan peduli dengan masyarakat sekitar.
Ketika di temui team AWPI Kota Semarang, Gus Rodhi sangat terbuka, suasanapun sangat cair ketika berbincang-bincang.
Dari perbincangan banyak hal positif yang bisa di petik. Gus Rodhi menceritakan awal pembentukan dan pendirian PA serta Pesantren Al Azhari yang didirikan Tahun 2005 yang lalu. Pesantren bentukanya membidangi pendidikan dan sosial. Untuk pendidikan diantaranya Taman Kanak-kanak dan Sekolah Dasar, sementara sosial menangani lansia.
Gus yang sering mengungkapkan, “orang sukses harus nekad” merupakan dasar pemikirannya dalam mencapai kesusksesan.
“Waktu dulu saya nekad mas untuk mendirikan PA dan Pesantren Al Azhari ini dengan modal berani. Saya dirikan yayasan Al Azhari dengan perjuangan yang penuh resiko, pokoke ngedan Sik,” ungkap Gus Rodhi kepada team kunjungan AWPI Kota Semarang, Kamis (22/7/2021) di kediamannya Banget Ayu Kota Semarang.
Lebih lanjut, Ia bersyukur, semuanya berjalan dengan lancar, tahun ketiga semua di biaya dengan wakaf umat diantaranya biaya masjid dan gedung yang ada saat ini.
“Saya tidak tahu kok bisa bangun gedung 3 lantai dengan kapasiatas 100 an anak ini. Semua proses dari atas,” ungkapnya, sambil tertawa.
Apalagi saat ini dirinya sudah berkiprah di Yayasan Al- Azhori selama kurang lebih 20 tahun. Cukup tahu dengan jalannya roda organisasi dalam Yayasan.
Ia pun menuturkan Lembaga Yayasan sangat beda dengan Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM).
Menurutnya di LSM harus pinter melobi pihak luar, sementara di Yayasan harus pinter memanagement waktu dan mengatur seluruh roda organisasi secara profesional.
Tambahnya, di yayasan tidak usah cari sponsor lagi, justru sponsor akan mencarinya.
“Coba kalau semua LSM bisa kayak Yayasan gini tidak usah cari Masalah dilapangan. LSM harus cerdas, kita harus mengubah LSM yang mempunyai income aktif. Ayo kita rubah AWPI menjadi lembaga asosiasi wartawan untuk mau berkiprah dibidang sosial. Dan Yang paling penting tahu pijakan yang di cari, disamping itu cerdas dalam membuat program yang jitu dan profesional,” ungkapnya.
Saran dan ajakan Gus Rodhi, LSM dan lembaga masyarakat bekerja dengan profesional sehingga ada target yang terarah. Bisa untuk kesejahteraan anak cucu nantinya.
Dalam kesempatan yang sama, ketua AWPI Kota Semarang yang biasa di sapa Yudi Wong mengungkapkan, program kerja AWPI sudah jelas, selain pengembangan profesional anggota dibidang jurnalisme, juga melakukan aksi sosial melalui bidang sosial. Diantaranya program bagi berkah melalui Jumat berkat, aksi sosial di PA selama bulan puasa serta membuat program Jambanisasi yang tersebar di 4 kecamatan di kota Semarang.
“Cukup membantu meningkatkan program-Program kerja yang nyata jangka pendek dan jangka panjang. Selama ini program jambanisasi yang sudah terprogram 1000 jamban di 16 kecamatan. Akan segera dilaksanakan lagi.” pungkasnya.
