Politeknik PU Di Semarang dan Pengembangan Program Super Spesialis Dan Rekayasa Penting PUPR
JAKARTA, jurnaljateng.id, Di tengah pandemi Covid-19 Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono akan terus melanjutkan pembangunan infrastruktur dan diharapkan menjadi salah satu pengungkit pemulihan ekonomi nasional.
Jalan dan Jembatan merupakan salah satu infrastruktur yang memiliki peran sangat penting dalam bidang perekonomian yang membantu dalam kelancaran distribusi logistik.
“Khusus untuk pembangunan jembatan, saya sampaikan ke depannya agar terus diberikan sentuhan arsitektural (art). Seperti pada Jembatan Youtefa yang ada ornamen ciri khas daerah Papua,” kata Menteri Basuki melalui siaran pers, Minggu (20/9/2020)
Dikatakan Menteri Basuki, dalam periode tahun 2015-2019, Kementerian PUPR telah membangun jalan nasional sepanjang 3.867 Km, jalan tol 1.500 Km, dan jembatan sepanjang 58.346 meter sebagai upaya peningkatan konektivitas, memperkuat daya saing infrastruktur, dan mempercepat pembangunan transportasi yang mendorong penguatan industri nasional.
Sementara itu, Arvila Delitriana mengungkapkan, Indonesia saat ini membutuhkan pembangunan jembatan dengan bentang lebih dari 100 meter.
“Bidang ini membutuhkan keahlian khusus dan harus disertifikasi oleh Komisi Keamanan Jembatan dan Terowongan Jalan (KKJTJ),” ujarnya.
Menteri Basuki menyatakan, Kementerian PUPR telah mendirikan Politeknik Pekerjaan Umum di Semarang dan mengembangkan Program Super Spesialis di bidang-bidang keilmuan dan rekayasa penting untuk dikuasai dalam pembangunan infrastruktur di Indonesia. Bekerja sama dengan Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Universitas Diponogoro (UNDIP) dan Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS).
Program Master Super Spesialis tersebut terdiri dari 11 program studi (prodi) yakni Prodi Rekayasa Jembatan Khusus (Struktur Bangunan Atas dan Bangunan Bawah), Rekayasa dan Pengendalian Morfologi Sungai dan Hidrologi dan Drainase pada Sistem Transportasi Jalan di ITB.
Selanjutnya Prodi Teknik Mitigasi Bencana Alam Likuifaksi, Teknik Pengelolaan dan Mitigasi Bencana Rawa, Geologi Struktur Bawah Tanah (Terowongan) dan Rekayasa Eksplorasi dan Eksploitasi Air Tanah Dalam di UGM. Prodi Operasi dan Instrumentasi Hidrometeorologi Bendungan dan Retrofitting dan Instrumentasi Keamanan Bendungan di Undip. Akhirnya, Preservasi Jalan Pada Kondisi Geoteknik Tanah Sulit dan Rekayasa Pengelolaan dan Pengendalian Kehilangan Air Minum di ITS.
“Dengan Program Master Super Spesialis ini, saya sangat berharap kita bisa menghasilkan banyak “Arvila Delitriana” di berbagai bidang infrastruktur PUPR,” kata Menteri Basuki.
Lanjutnya, Kedepan pembangunan jalan tol diupayakan tidak lagi akan ada yang membelah bukit, namun dengan membuat terowongan (tunnel).
Selain itu untuk mendukung pengembangan inovasi dan teknologi, Menteri Basuki menekankan pentingnya penggunaan hasil inovasi produk dalam negeri.
“Contohnya saya paksa pembelian Excavator dari Pindad, setiap tahun Kementerian PUPR beli. Sekarang produknya mulai berinovasi, sudah ada excavator kecil dan excavator amphibi,” pungkasnya.
